Lean Manufacturing Practises In The Healthcare System
Hakan Turan, Gkmen Turan.  |  | | | Abstract Today, the waste reduction should be the aim of all managers. The costs have increased day by day in the healthcare sector. It is necessary to manage effectively processes in order to reduce costs. Process improvement studies in the health sector is extremely important to discipline costs. Lean manufacturing methods were developed by Toyota in 1950 aims to improve the processes. Lean manufacturing reduces the costs while eliminating wastes in the processes. Although lean manufacturing was firstly developed in the automotive sector, it is also implemented in the manufacturing and the service sector. The aim of this paper is to report hospital that have lately fulfilled lean. Thus, it is seen that the lean manufacturing contributes to the hospitals. In this study, it is also aimed to give point of view for the firms which dont implement lean manufacturing. In addition, lean manufaturing techniques have been also mentioned in general. Salk Sisteminde Yaln retim Uygulamalar Ozet Gnmzde israf azaltma tm yneticilerin amac olmaldr. Salk sektrnde maliyetler her geen gn artmaktadr. Maliyetleri azaltmak iin sreleri etkin bir ekilde ynetmek gerekmektedir. Sre iyiletirme almalar salk sektrnde maliyetleri disipline etmek iin son derece nemlidir. 1950 ylnda Toyota tarafndan gelitirilen yaln retim metodu sre iyiletirmeyi amalamaktadr. Yaln retim, srelerdeki israflar yok ederek maliyetleri azaltmaktadr. Yaln retim ilk olarak otomotiv sektrnde gelitirilmi olsa da retim ve hizmet sektrnde de uygulanmaktadr. Bu almann amac son zamanlarda yaln uygulamas yapan hastaneleri raporlamaktr. Bylece yaln retimin hastanelere salad katklar grlmektedir. Bu almada, yaln retimi uygulamayan firmalar iin de bir bak a kazandrmak amalanmaktadr. Ayrca yaln retim tekniklerinden de genel olarak bahsedilmitir.
